The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering provides a combined degree program where students earn both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science (BS/MS) in Industrial Engineering simultaneously. This opportunity is exclusively for high-achieving undergraduates in the Industrial and Systems Engineering program at the University of Miami. Designed to accelerate academic progress, this pathway enables eligible Industrial Engineering students to obtain their bachelor's degree (BSIE) and master's degree (MSIE) within five years, instead of the typical six years (four for undergraduate plus two for graduate studies). Both degrees are conferred together once all requirements for each program are fulfilled.
