The Department of Biomedical Engineering provides a dual-degree program where students earn both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science (BS/MS) in Biomedical Engineering simultaneously. This opportunity is exclusively for eligible students currently pursuing the undergraduate Biomedical Engineering program at the University of Miami. Designed for qualified individuals, this program enables them to obtain both a BSBE and an MSBE within five years, instead of the typical 4+2 year timeframe. Both degrees are conferred together once all requirements for each have been fulfilled.
