Established in 1981, the Master of Science in General Psychology (MSGP) program provides comprehensive education in psychological sciences. This research-focused curriculum delivers advanced training for students pursuing graduate studies or professional advancement in psychology, with many graduates continuing to doctoral programs.
MSGP students enjoy flexible pacing, as there's no mandatory credit requirement per semester. Our program prioritizes adaptable learning, hands-on experience, and personalized guidance to prepare graduates for success across various career trajectories. The program's core objectives include:
Specialization in Psychology. The MSGP curriculum enables students to investigate different psychological disciplines, helping them identify their interests and choose a focused study area. This specialization strengthens their qualifications for future Ph.D. applications.
Academic Profile Enhancement. High-achieving students can bolster their PhD program applications through challenging coursework, professional growth opportunities, and research involvement.
Master's-Level Professional Preparation. The program equips students for psychology-related careers requiring master's-level qualifications.
Career Advancement. For working professionals, the MSGP program offers pathways to elevate their current positions, whether through research-focused or practical career development options.
