Biology students completing a Bachelor of Science degree will achieve these key outcomes: (a) master fundamental concepts, theories, and principles across all biological organization levels; (b) utilize biological classification systems to understand life's diversity and evolutionary connections; (c) develop strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities; (e) gain proficiency in laboratory and fieldwork, including equipment operation, methodologies, and safety procedures; (f) effectively locate, assess, and apply biological information from various print and digital sources; (g) clearly present scientific knowledge and research findings through both verbal and written communication; (h) successfully pursue graduate studies, professional programs, or careers that leverage their biological training.
All students, both freshmen and transfer, must apply online for admission as an undergraduate student.
Applicants should upload a copy of their unofficial international transcript or marks sheet (high school/secondary or college/university) using our secure document upload system.
All international transfer applicants must have their international documents evaluated by a US credentialing agency that holds membership with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
