Our program stands as the premier undergraduate and graduate fine art photography program across Tennessee and the seven neighboring Mid-American states. Featuring the area's most extensive photography faculty—including three renowned full-time photographers, multiple part-time professional instructors, and a skilled full-time photo technician—we offer personalized guidance and comprehensive training. Our state-of-the-art facilities boast dedicated black & white labs, a color printing lab, an alternative process lab, an electronic arts lab, and professional studio lighting setups. The photography students here foster a strong sense of community, cultivating a welcoming and supportive learning environment. Through their vibrant student organization, the Photographic Society, they organize annual events featuring globally recognized photographers, educational trips, specialized workshops, collaborative exhibitions, and social gatherings. These activities enable valuable networking with top professionals in the field.
