UMass Lowell's Ph.D. program provides two distinct pathways:
Chemical Engineering Specialization
Energy Engineering Specialization (with Nuclear Engineering Focus)
Structured to develop future leaders for industrial, academic, and governmental roles, the program combines rigorous graduate-level engineering courses with interdisciplinary studies, culminating in original doctoral research.
