The BLA Asian Studies program delves into the intricate connections among Asia's artistic, cultural, political, social, literary, and religious dimensions. This concentration highlights both the rich diversity and accomplishments of Asian societies while demonstrating how insights about Asia can provide fresh perspectives on Western traditions. The program covers East Asia, South Asia, and Southeast Asia, including coursework on Asian American experiences. Rooted mainly in humanities and social sciences, all non-language courses are conducted in English.
