CVPA's Visual Design MFA is a comprehensive 60-credit program spanning 2-3 years. This curriculum enables students to investigate visual communication across multiple disciplines. Study concentrations encompass: Digital Media Graphic Design Illustration Photography With faculty mentorship, students create original thesis projects rooted in personal research. These culminating projects demand both creative and scholarly components that meet high standards of intellectual depth, formal execution, and technical mastery. Participants assemble advisory committees tailored to their thesis focus, selecting from faculty members with diverse perspectives and specialized knowledge. These mentors excel in traditional, time-based, and digital media formats.
