The On-campus Bachelor of Science in General Business Administration (GBA) caters to working professionals seeking to finish their undergraduate studies later in their careers. While we typically advise students to pursue specialized degrees, we understand this approach may not fit all experienced learners. Admission to the On-campus GBA program requires applicants to: First gain acceptance to the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth while transferring at least 45 credits from other institutions. Second demonstrate substantial full-time professional experience beyond academic settings. Third satisfy transfer credit minimums or qualify as returning students after a five-year absence from UMass Dartmouth. Applicants falling short of the 45-credit threshold may consider community college coursework (though admission to GBA remains uncertain). Internship opportunities typically occur during junior or senior years following major declaration. Charlton students secure internships across all business sectors, plus healthcare, government, and nonprofit fields. This program offers two formats: a fully online option or an on-campus completion track for mid-career professionals.
