The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art and Design: Integrated Studio Arts program caters to students seeking to cultivate and blend diverse visual arts skills. A dedicated advisory team helps learners select courses aligned with their artistic aspirations. Practicing artist-educators from all Art and Design disciplines provide personalized mentorship focused on nurturing each student's unique creative expression. Students can combine studio courses from various disciplines to craft their custom curriculum: animation & game design, ceramics, drawing, graphic design, illustration, jewelry/metalsmithing, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and textiles. As a professional degree, the BFA offers deeper specialization than a BA program, featuring more intensive art coursework. UMass Dartmouth further enhances this experience by providing comprehensive university resources that broaden academic horizons and career prospects.
