The MPPA/MEd program caters to students focused on policy matters impacting higher and postsecondary education, including state-level governance, financial aid allocation, and admissions/hiring affirmative action policies. Alumni will be equipped for careers in research, policy evaluation, and administrative roles within government agencies, consulting firms, educational research institutions, and nonprofits addressing educational challenges.
Dual degree candidates can initiate their studies in either program. We recommend completing one full academic year in the first program before transitioning to the second. The second year focuses on completing core requirements of the alternate program, with remaining requirements for both degrees being fulfilled during the third year of study.
