The UMass Amherst School of Public Policy collaborates with Health Policy and Management to provide a combined Master of Public Policy and Administration (MPPA) and Master of Public Health (MPH) degree. This dual MPPA/MPH program prepares graduates to analyze health policies competently, comprehend healthcare organizational dynamics, formulate policy solutions for public health challenges, and communicate intricate health policies to general audiences.

Dual degree candidates can start with either program, though completing one full year in the initial program before switching is recommended. The second year focuses on core requirements of the alternate program, while the third year completes all remaining requirements for both degrees.
