Primary majors must complete Span 394PI (the preparatory course) in their second or third year, where they examine their motivations for choosing the major and post-graduation objectives. This course also helps students plan study abroad, service-learning, or internship opportunities - the second phase of the Integrative Experience - with support from campus offices. Participants explore how to align university resources and extracurricular activities with their professional aspirations. After completing their experiential component, students enroll in Span 494RI to reflect collectively on how these experiences complement their overall education.
