The Master of Professional Studies in Data Science and Analytics delivers comprehensive training in data science principles, blending mathematical foundations, statistical methods, computational techniques, and communication strategies. Housed within the Science Academy of the College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences, this program offers an advanced educational experience. The 30-credit MPS in Data Science and Analytics caters to working professionals, with a flexible structure allowing completion within two years. University of Maryland faculty and industry specialists deliver instruction through in-person classes at the College Park campus, supplemented by online course components.
Those applicants who have earned or will earn a bachelor's degree at a regionally accredited college or university in the United States (or the equivalent of a baccalaureate degree from a nationally recognized institution in another country) are eligible to be considered for admission to the Graduate School at the University of Maryland
