The Bachelor of Science in Architecture is a fast-track four-year pre-professional program that seamlessly integrates with our NAAB-accredited Master of Architecture degree (or equivalent programs at other universities). Our Architecture Program provides a four-year undergraduate curriculum culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. This program combines broad liberal arts education with intensive pre-professional architectural training. Graduates may then apply for our accredited Master of Architecture program or similar professional degree programs.
The undergraduate architecture curriculum is structured to reduce the total time needed to earn a professional degree. Numerous University of Maryland Bachelor of Science in Architecture graduates advance to our Master of Architecture program or choose to attend other institutions for graduate studies. Many architecture schools across the country offer Master of Architecture programs that align well with our undergraduate degree (refer to NAAB's list of accredited programs in North America).
