Our department provides a Bachelor of Arts program featuring studies in painting, sculpture, digital media, printmaking, art theory, and graphic design. Students begin with a rigorous foundations curriculum centered on mastering compositional principles in both 2D and 3D formats. After completing these core courses, learners are urged to explore and experience the diverse mediums available within our department. The program fosters the development of a distinctive artistic perspective, grounded in modern art-critical approaches and technical proficiency for creating impactful contemporary artwork.
Participants also gain access to multiple avenues for deeper engagement, including internship options and hands-on experience at the Herman Maril Gallery, our student-operated exhibition space. They can also take part in organizing and curating shows that highlight peer creations within the department.
