The integrated program is designed for undergraduate students demonstrating academic excellence and a strong interest in pursuing graduate studies. Participants should anticipate an additional year of study beyond the standard BS degree requirements, as three Master's-level core courses are completed during the senior year and count toward both degrees. Housed within UMBC's College of Engineering and Information Technology (COEIT), the Information Systems Department provides diverse academic options including a B.A. in business technology administration, B.S. in information systems, combined B.S./M.S. programs, M.S. in information systems (available online), M.S. in human-centered computing, and doctoral programs in both information systems and human-centered computing. Our curriculum focuses on developing expertise in information technology design, implementation, and assessment.
