The integrated BSMS programs, referred to as Accelerated Bachelor's/Master's tracks, allow high-achieving students to merge their undergraduate studies with graduate coursework, resulting in both bachelor's and master's degrees upon completion. Typically, these dual-degree options include combinations such as: BS in Mathematics with MS in Applied Mathematics, or BS in Statistics with MS in Statistics. Prospective students should declare their interest in these accelerated programs to either the department Chair, Undergraduate Advisor, or Graduate Program Director during their junior year. Submission of a formal letter of intent or application is necessary at this stage. Upon acceptance, participants must adhere to a structured curriculum where up to 9 credits of 600-level (or above) graduate courses can be applied toward both their undergraduate and graduate degree requirements.
