The integrated BSMS programs, referred to as Accelerated Bachelor's/Master's tracks, allow high-achieving students to merge their undergraduate and graduate studies, culminating in both a BS and MS degree upon completion. Typically, these paired degrees include options like: BS in Mathematics with MS in Applied Mathematics, or BS in Statistics with MS in Statistics. Prospective students should declare their interest in these combined programs to either the department Chair, Undergraduate Advisor, or Graduate Program Director by their junior year. Submission of a letter of intent or formal application is necessary at this stage. Upon acceptance, students adhere to a structured curriculum where up to 9 credits of 600-level (or above) courses can be applied toward both their bachelor's and master's requirements.
