The Photography program focuses on equipping students with technical skills, artistic vision, and historical knowledge of the photographic arts. Developing visual literacy in our image-saturated world forms the core of cultivating creative expression. Foundational courses cover digital and film techniques, lighting, and camera operation, building toward more complex conceptual and artistic challenges. Students examine photography's evolving cultural significance through historical studies. Throughout the curriculum, learners pursue individual interests while connecting photographic practice with personal perspective and surroundings. The program balances cutting-edge digital technologies with traditional darkroom processes. Advanced courses investigate interdisciplinary approaches, incorporating photography with installation art, performance, and time-based media.
