Beginning summer 2021, the Health Administration and Policy BA program has been renamed to Public Health BA. This new title better represents the comprehensive scope of students' education and skill development. We're thrilled to offer this updated program to both current students and new enrollees for Fall 2021. Transcripts will now feature specialized tracks, helping students showcase their qualifications to potential employers and graduate programs. While the full transition may require time, we welcome your inquiries when classes resume this autumn. Public Health encompasses diverse activities, from traditional population-focused efforts like disease surveillance, prevention services (including immunizations), and outreach to vulnerable communities, to health communication across various audience sizes. It operates through both large-scale programs and targeted interventions. Clinical services also contribute by applying research-backed methods. Furthermore, health policies can strengthen public health initiatives through specific interventions and broader social strategies.
