The Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Health Administration and Policy provides an honors program designed for anthropology majors interested in independent research projects. This opportunity is especially recommended for students planning to pursue graduate studies in Anthropology. Sociology undergraduates explore key sociological topics, research methodologies, and theoretical frameworks. Such education prepares them to comprehend and engage in sociological investigations while developing skills applicable across public, non-profit, and private sectors. Sociological knowledge proves particularly valuable for careers in healthcare, social services, education, as well as in human resources, personnel management, and marketing divisions of various organizations.
