The Sociology and Anthropology Department offers interdisciplinary education through four Bachelor of Science programs: Anthropology, Behavioral Science, Criminology, and Sociology. Our department's goal is to deliver a rigorous liberal arts education that combines theoretical knowledge, research methods, and practical applications to explore human experiences. We emphasize personalized guidance and mentorship in our student-focused environment.
Each program includes extensive coursework, community-based internships, a faculty-guided senior thesis project, and chances to participate in international study programs examining cultural and social topics. Students graduate with substantial knowledge, hands-on professional experience, and valuable analytical, research, and practical abilities that prepare them for advanced studies or professional careers.
