The College of Communications and Information provides graduate programs awarding Master of Arts degrees (available as Plan A or Plan B) and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Communication. This program creates unique opportunities for learners to implement communication theories and research across diverse settings. Students can craft customized study plans focusing on (or integrating) specialized fields including health communication, information science, educational communication, mass media studies, risk and crisis messaging, along with strategic and corporate communication. Designed to accommodate diverse aspirations, the program supports students aiming for academic teaching and research positions, professional research roles, or communication-focused careers in media and various organizations.

Qualification Requirements
You will be asked to upload copies of transcripts from all higher education institutions attended and, in the case of domestic students, to self-report cumulative GPA's for each institution. The Graduate Program in Communication requires an overall GPA of 3.00 on all undergraduate and graduate work. If you are offered admission and decide to enroll, you will then be required to submit official transcripts to the Graduate School. CV
