The Graduate Certificate in Enhancing Healthcare Value is a cross-disciplinary initiative guided by faculty from the College of Public Health, College of Business and Economics, and College of Engineering. This program offers UK graduate students across various fields, UK HealthCare employees, and other medical professionals the chance to expand their expertise in boosting healthcare service value (both quality and affordability) within hospitals, healthcare networks, and academic medical institutions.

Qualification Requirements

Pre-approved Certificate courses that have already been completed may count towards the curriculum requirements. Requests to include these courses are made on the application. Official transcripts are required for undergraduate and graduate work from universities other than the University of Kentucky. A GPA of 3.0 is required for admission. Two letters of recommendation , Personal statement, International applicants whose native language is not English must submit either a TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score. The University of Kentucky requires a minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based) or 79 (internet-based). For IELTS, a minimum mean band score of 6.5 is required. Students seeking admission to the Graduate School must have obtained a baccalaureate degree, prior to the start of the term for which s/he is admitted, from a fully accredited U.S. institution of higher learning or from a recognized foreign institution.
