At SA/VS, we foster a cross-disciplinary sculptural approach incorporating weaving, knitting, felting, sewing, embroidery, and dyeing techniques, where students manually construct textile layers while discovering diverse fiber manipulation possibilities. Contemporary fiber artistry merges time-honored craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology. Our curriculum explores significant themes that both motivate and shape classroom instruction.
