The Department of Applied Behavioral Science provides two undergraduate degree options: a 33-credit Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and a Bachelor of General Studies (B.G.S.). Both programs share identical major requirements, differing only in their general education components as defined by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The B.A. mandates extra foreign language coursework, while the B.G.S. necessitates focused study in a discipline beyond the student's primary field, requiring either a co-major or minor for B.G.S. candidates.

Majors must select a specialization within the Department to refine and implement their expertise toward solving specific social issues. Six concentration areas are available for both degree programs: Adults with Disabilities, Basic Research and Conceptual Foundations (with optional tracks), Community Health and Development, Early Childhood (offering education/intervention, autism, and research options), Organizational Behavioral Management Research and Practice, and Youth Development and Juvenile Justice.
