The Master of Arts in Sport and Recreation Management equips students for leadership roles across various sectors, including professional sports organizations, educational athletics departments, recreational programs, sports agencies, league administrations, coaching positions, and more. While prior undergraduate studies in sport or recreation management are beneficial, they're not mandatory - applicants from all academic backgrounds are welcome. Upon graduation, students will possess the skills to:
implement and evaluate financial management, risk assessment, and marketing strategies specific to sports and recreation,
exhibit thorough knowledge of leadership concepts within the sports and recreation sectors,
understand and apply experience economy principles to sports and recreation contexts,
conduct research and utilize findings effectively in sports and recreation settings,
communicate ideas effectively through both speech and writing,
apply analytical reasoning, collaborative skills, organizational strategies, and presentation techniques to address challenges in sports and recreation organizations,
