The Greek master's program is designed for aspiring high school teachers of Greek language, literature, and history, as well as for students planning to pursue doctoral studies elsewhere. Each program mandates completion of 30 semester credits, with no thesis requirement across all three options. M.A. candidates in Latin without prior Greek studies must incorporate introductory Greek into their coursework. Similarly, Greek degree seekers lacking Latin background should include Latin studies. All students must fulfill either Greek Composition or Advanced Latin Composition requirements, which can alternatively be met through examination.
