A doctoral degree in occupational and environmental health (OEH) represents the highest level of academic achievement, focusing on specialized expertise and innovative research capabilities. This program cultivates future leaders in both environmental and workplace health research and application. Candidates collaborate closely with their academic mentors to create tailored programs of study and investigative work across key disciplines including farm safety, environmental sciences, toxicology studies, human factors engineering, workplace hazard control, and accident prevention strategies. Beyond achieving the competencies required for a Master's in OEH, doctoral candidates will:
formulate proposals for research funding,
apply suitable analytical techniques to assess data within the OEH domain,
create strategies for disseminating research results to diverse stakeholders,
construct comprehensive studies within the occupational and environmental health field, and
