Breathing is an essential automatic function our bodies perform. As a respiratory therapist, you'll assess, care for, rehabilitate, and teach patients with heart and lung conditions. You'll assist patients across all age groups, from newborns to seniors. During your studies, you'll gain practical experience at medical centers across central Indiana. UIndy partners with IU Health as part of the Indiana Respiratory Therapy Education Consortium, one of only three universities in the region offering a bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
