UIndy's philosophy program invites you to delve into profound subjects alongside equally inquisitive peers. You'll grapple with fundamental questions of purpose and values, study philosophical traditions through history, and analyze ethical frameworks in contemporary life. Advanced students can progress from theoretical inquiry to crafting practical solutions for modern challenges—transitioning from questioning "why" to implementing "how" to create tangible impact.
The pre-theology track welcomes students from all disciplines to examine Christian vocations through collaborative learning. Guided by UIndy's Ecumenical and Interfaith Office chaplain, this concentration features specialized courses where participants immerse themselves in Christian teachings while discerning their spiritual callings.
By completing four vocation-focused courses, you'll enhance your understanding of prayer, worship, service, and stewardship while gaining hands-on experience through an internship.
