The Global Languages & Cross-Cultural Studies Department at UIndy provides options to study Spanish, Franco-Germanic Studies, Latin American Studies, or specialize in Multilingual Translation & Communication. Throughout your studies, you'll develop proficiency in reading and writing your chosen language while gaining insights into the cultures, philosophies, and business customs of regions where the language is spoken worldwide.
After graduation, employers will prioritize practical skills and relevant experiences on your resume. Our faculty supports you in pursuing opportunities aligned with your objectives, from translation coursework to local community outreach internships or international study programs.
