Bachelor's Degree
The Department of Evolution, Ecology, and Behavior provides graduate programs for both Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees, welcoming applicants with interests spanning the wide-ranging fields of Evolution, Ecology, and Behavior.
Given the extensive scope of contemporary biological studies, students must complete advanced coursework in three out of six disciplines: Ecology, Evolution, Behavior, Genetics/Genomics, Physiology/Anatomy, and Conservation. Further course selections are made by students in collaboration with their faculty advisory committee. The quantity and focus of these courses will depend on each student's research goals and academic background. Early engagement in research is strongly recommended.
