The Department of Kinesiology and Community Health provides graduate studies in Kinesiology, awarding both Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. Students can pursue a combined M.P.H. and Kinesiology Ph.D. program, where up to 12 credit hours count toward both degrees. Both degrees are granted together upon fulfilling all program requirements.

Qualification Requirements

All applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA (out of 4.0 GPA) to apply to the MPH program. GPA is calculated from the last 60 hours (approximately two years) of undergraduate coursework. Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in a health or disability-related discipline and/or a strong background in social and biological sciences and quantitative methods. nternational students must also submit Test of English as a Foreign Language scores, with a minimum for full status admission: 103 (TOEFL - IBT) or 7.5 (IELTS).
