The School of Music provides diverse graduate degree options tailored to students' musical aspirations. The Master of Music program spans two years and mandates on-campus participation. Our piano pedagogy faculty gain recognition through global performances, masterclasses, and influential publications that serve as authoritative references for piano literature and collegiate instruction. Alumni secure roles at elite institutions worldwide, excelling as composers, educators, and arts administrators. Degree offerings feature a Bachelor of Music in Open Studies with piano pedagogy specialization and a Master of Music in piano pedagogy. Students may also incorporate piano pedagogy studies within the Doctor of Musical Arts in Performance and Literature program. The curriculum encompasses everything from jazz improvisation to practical teaching internships. Through partnership with the School of Music's Office of Public Engagement, the Piano Pedagogy Division operates a non-credit Piano Laboratory Program for pre-college students. We strive to deliver comprehensive training that equips future musicians with adaptable teaching and performance skills for modern musical landscapes.
