Students enrolled in the Master of Music program with a focus on Music Composition will:
Hone their musical skills and artistic vision to professional standards, employing analytical thinking, critique, and modern tools to guide stylistic decisions and creative output, while effectively sharing their artistry with varied audiences through performance.
Show proficiency in distilling, integrating, and debating subject matter connected to music theory, presenting their insights through proper academic formats in written and/or spoken presentations.
Display competence in utilizing library resources for music-related research and academic writing, along with adeptness in managing both traditional and digital reference materials.
Engage in focused academic pursuits to build specialized knowledge and integrate learning in fields that complement their core studies and/or career aspirations.
Acquire hands-on experience and mastery in teaching approaches, educational techniques, and student evaluation within their primary musical discipline, developing understanding of classroom instruction and suitable assessment strategies.
