The Learning and Behavioral Specialist I (LBSI) program at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign trains exceptional, forward-thinking special education instructors. This certification enables graduates to educate students aged 3 to 21 with various disabilities (including learning disorders, emotional/behavioral challenges, autism, cognitive impairments, physical disabilities, and multiple disabilities) across diverse learning environments.
Our Department has consistently pioneered research that enhances successful, inclusive results for people with disabilities throughout their lives. Qualification Requirements
