The Department of Computer Science ranks among the world's oldest and most prestigious, maintaining a consistent position in the top five graduate programs globally. It provides advanced studies culminating in master's or doctoral degrees, including an interdisciplinary bioinformatics master's program. This program is available both on-campus and through online delivery, enabling students to obtain a Master of Computer Science degree from an IT leader without needing to visit campus. Distance learners can choose between the comprehensive MCS curriculum or the data science specialization. All virtual courses are instructed by our internationally renowned faculty, supplemented with guidance from Graduate Teaching Assistants and program personnel. Off-campus participants have a five-year window to finish the program.
