For more than four decades, the Industrial-Organizational Psychology Ph.D. program has consistently ranked among the nation's elite. This program concentrates on examining psychological aspects within workplace settings, with current faculty and students conducting research across diverse topics including recruitment and selection processes, personality traits, career interests, gender dynamics in leadership roles, emotional intelligence, workplace social structures, employee engagement and retention, team dynamics, diversity in human resources, work-life balance, occupational stress, narcissism in organizations, negative workplace behaviors, managerial misconduct, psychological measurement techniques, work significance, and unemployment impacts. Since its founding, our doctoral program's core mission has been preparing students for advanced research and theoretical applications related to individuals in organizational contexts. Graduates have secured roles at leading research institutions, academic colleges, corporations, consulting agencies, and government entities.
