The Department of Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering (ISE) provides graduate programs for both master's and doctoral degrees in Industrial Engineering (IE) along with Systems and Entrepreneurial Engineering (SEE). These interdisciplinary programs bridge traditional boundaries, combining industrial engineering, systems engineering, design principles, and entrepreneurial approaches. The IE curriculum emphasizes advanced topics like operations research, optimization techniques, supply chain systems, financial engineering, quality control, reliability engineering, and production management - all designed to enhance modeling, simulation, analysis, and decision-making capabilities for complex engineering and economic systems. PhD candidates in Industrial Engineering can join the program with either a bachelor's or master's degree. Those entering with a bachelor's degree may choose to obtain their master's during the program or bypass it entirely.
