The Psychology program offers a comprehensive curriculum centered around research. This program caters to students seeking a liberal arts education with a psychology focus, as well as those preparing for graduate studies in psychology or related fields like medicine, law, social work, business, counseling, and labor relations. The major delivers both extensive and specialized knowledge in Psychology through required courses including introductory classes, statistics, core subject areas, research methods, and electives for deeper study. Most concentrations feature a dedicated core course and tailored research methods class, except for intradisciplinary psychology. When planning their studies, students can choose between the Intradisciplinary Psychology path for customized course selection or specialize in specific psychology areas through other concentrations. Undergraduates can engage in active research by joining laboratory projects. For personalized study plans and research guidance, students are encouraged to consult the Undergraduate Advising Office. Engineering psychology examines human behavior within human-machine interactions.
