Engineering Physics serves as the foundational physics program for University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign students. This demanding curriculum covers essential Physics principles. We are developing an innovative Applied Physics program that will merge core physics education with technical training, design project participation, entrepreneurial engagement, and internship possibilities with corporate collaborators. We expect this program to be ready for student enrollment in the coming years. The Engineering Physics program offers a versatile educational approach that pairs solid grounding in physics and mathematics with extensive technical elective choices.
