This accelerated program is tailored for undergraduate students who have already decided to pursue a Master's Degree in Political Science. It enables political science majors to earn both their Bachelor's and Master's degrees in a condensed timeframe through full-time study.
Participants must meet all standard requirements for the Political Science B.A. degree.
After completing their bachelor's degree, students undergo evaluation to continue into the Master's portion of the program. Applicants must still formally apply to the Political Science Master's program through UIS Admissions.
The Master's phase follows the same requirements as the regular M.A. program, with the exception that students may apply up to eight internship credits from their bachelor's studies toward the graduate degree. With these adjustments, the Master's portion requires completion of 32 credit hours.
