Our adaptable curriculum welcomes students from accounting, business, and non-business backgrounds. We evaluate your prior undergraduate coursework, enabling degree completion in 8-16 courses (32-64 credit hours) based on your experience. You also have the option to pursue a combined MBA/MSA degree.
Our MSA program develops skilled professionals for accounting careers in just one to two years, regardless of undergraduate major. The program also readies graduates for professional certifications like the CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and CMA (Certificate in Management Accounting) exams. The CPA credential offers significant career opportunities, and our MSA program fulfills all educational prerequisites for this valuable certification.
In addition to the Graduate College minimum requirements, applicants must meet the following program requirements: Baccalaureate Field No restrictions. Grade Point Average At least 3.00/4.00 for the final 60 semester (90 quarter) hours of undergraduate study. Applicants possessing a master’s degree in business or an equivalent degree from a program accredited by the AACSB-International must have maintained a grade point average of at least 3.00/4.00 in that program.
Minimum English Competency Test Score
TOEFL 81, with sub scores of Reading 20, Listening 20, Speaking 20, and Writing 21 (iBT Test); 60, with sub scores of Reading 19, Listening 17, Writing 21 (revised Paper-Delivered Test), OR,
IELTS 6.5, with sub scores of 6.0 for all four sub scores, OR,
PTE-Academic 54, with sub scores of Reading 51, Listening 47, Speaking 53, and Writing 56.
