Mathematics explores the theoretical foundations of numbers, patterns, quantities, systems, and spatial relationships, serving as the universal language of science and any discipline that examines structured processes. Studying mathematical sciences enables students to grasp abstract concepts while equipping them with critical thinking skills essential for navigating our technology-driven, data-rich world. The mathematics program readies undergraduates for advanced studies in pure and applied mathematics, statistics, and computational mathematics. Both the major and minor tracks provide valuable preparation for diverse fields including natural and social sciences, business, finance, government sectors, as well as professional programs like law school - essentially any career path that prizes rigorous analysis and effective communication abilities.
