Biology explores the phenomena of life and the remarkable, fascinating, and perplexing elements that make our world distinctive.
Students in our biological science program examine cellular architecture and processes, how cells collaborate to form tissues and organisms, disease transmission and novel treatment approaches, and survival adaptations in living beings. As a comprehensive natural science, biology incorporates specialized fields like genetics, biochemistry, and microbiology. Some graduates pursue advanced medical degrees, while others secure rewarding positions in environmental science, biotechnology, research labs, medical technology, agriculture and nutrition, or education.
