How can we know about the external world, ourselves, or divine existence? What connection exists between mind and body? How should we confront mortality? Through analyzing diverse arguments addressing these profound questions, philosophers cultivate highly valued abilities - rigorous reasoning, analytical thinking, and the capacity to understand multiple viewpoints.
