The Master of Natural Resources (MNR) is a multidisciplinary, course-focused graduate program tailored for both current professionals and those aspiring to strengthen their qualifications for careers in natural resource management. The MNR program's core aim is to synthesize diverse viewpoints—including ecology, planning, policy, societal factors, and technological tools—into a comprehensive systems approach to natural resources. This distinctive professional degree welcomes students from varied academic backgrounds, equipping them with credentials and competencies for proficient natural resource stewardship. Students can finish the degree fully online or through a hybrid of online and in-person coursework. Additionally, the MNR can be paired with a fire science specialization certificate.
The Fire Ecology and Management Option delves deeper into tackling wildfire management issues confronting modern society.
