Exploring forest fire dynamics, leading conservation initiatives, managing wildlife populations, or analyzing environmental policies—these are just some of the career paths available to experts holding doctoral degrees in natural resource sciences.
This program immerses students in advanced methodologies for conserving and sustainably managing our planet's ecosystems, including terrestrial landscapes, aquatic systems, mineral resources, timberlands, and biodiversity. Participants will acquire hands-on research expertise through involvement in ongoing projects across our 15 specialized research centers. Our cutting-edge infrastructure features an isolated wilderness research outpost and one of the most extensive genetic analysis facilities dedicated to studying uncultivated flora and fauna.
Doctoral candidates will tailor their academic journey according to their professional experience, research focus, and vocational aspirations. The curriculum culminates with the submission and defense of an original dissertation.
